Camera
D-Child going to school
S-Street, crime scene, School, street, house.
T-Gangster
I-Stop sign.
N-How they deal with the environment they live in.
C-Tre Styles, 3 Other kids he is with.
T-Pan into the stop sign, Close up of the blood, long shot of the whole class when the fight happens.

Mise En Scene
C-The children are wearing street clothes like track suits to give the stereotypical look of the Ghetto.
L-The whole clip is in natural lighting which gives a real feel to the whole thing.
A-The actors are children to add more of a shock factor when the audience finds out that there are shootings and finding the crime scene to then have a fight in the class room.
M-The children are looking all natural.
P-The lunch boxes are used to show that there normal kids that are walking to school, this also adds to the shock when they talk about the shooting and the crime scene. The director also used the cane/stick to act as a educational tool turns into a weapon, this could represent the children as they grow up starting off in education and ending up turning violent.
S-It is set in a ghetto to show that children do live there and struggle to sleep with the shootings and learn with the violence taking place in the class.

Editing
S-The 4 main kids have the most screen time but also the teacher and mother have major screen time which is crucial to the story line.
T-The blood that the kids find on the ground has a faded transition to the pictures Tre is drawing in class, this could represent that the children's mind is on other things like violence rather then education.
O-After the fight in the class the story transitions to the teacher having a phone call with the mother of the boy, This is shown by both actors on the phone, and you know its after class because the teacher is walking on the street.
P-There are no special effects.

Sound
M-No music
C-No music
D-None
O-At the begging when the credits are rolling there is what sounds to be 2 men arguing, using swear words and racial slurs. Then it sounds like they pull up to some people and shoo them.
V-No voice over
E-There us an off-screen young boy crying while the credits are rolling saying 'They shot my brother'
D-While talking about the shooting they heard the night before they don't sounds scared at all. The boys dont sound scared when seeing the blood. But the girls sound scared.
