Denotations:There is babrbed wire behind everyone. Connotations: Shows something is trying to be kept in. 

Denotations:There is a girl with her hand out, looking intensely into the camera. Connotations: Trying to cast a spell, Magic.

Denotations: There is a girl holding a baseball bat. Connotations: There is something she needs to fight of.
