Track in to a chair with a guitar.
Track out to a man with a mask on and Gambino shoots him in the head.
The gun is thrown to people and once they kill people they are defended and put back nicely.
The pan around to the children filming the madness and not being scared, referencing how children are becoming used to this and thinking its normal.
Question; Analyse how social and cultural contexts can influence advertising.
The brand image/logo is a key component of the campaign as the 'H' is in the shape of a house, this reminds the audience how the charity will either help you fund for a house or maintain your housing status. lack of diversity when representing the photos help show that anyone can potentially become homeless, therefore it shows there is no stereotype for people that become homeless (which is emphasised by the 'normal' looking people on the poster). There is a possibility that the individuals presented are ethnically diverse however there isn't much evidence. The expressions on the faces are very bland and serious, this is ambiguous as it helps represent how anyone can become homeless however it allows the reader visualise the advert as they desire - some worrying more than others-. As the pale plain faces connotes that the people may be feeling weak and vulnerable however the Shelter charity can help vigorously reverse this...
The advert contains emotive language in order to gain empathy from the audience. The words are painted across the faces of the individuals on the advert to show their potential thought processes however it also creates a seriousness as the words are so close to the audience in a bright bold font in the middle of the spread. The vague description of the words helps the audiences imagination play a key role to expect the worse and feel very sympathetic to those in need or imagine a family/friend or relative to be in that situation. Creating the atmosphere for the reader creates a sense of tension and potential change to help support the campaign. The social context helps portray the seriousness of the problem as many homeless are clearly visible in most towns and cities lying helpless with nothing!
This creates links to social context of the audience of the luxury's they enjoy everyday however those in need don't even have a roof over the head again adding to the sympathy. The poster contains a difference scenario that shows how different people can become homeless in different situations. This is used to inform people that anyone is vulnerable but it can potentially happen in anyway.
In conclusion, I believe that the images are used to show the inequalities of wealth in society (Shown through the lack of emotion on the posters), In addition this creates a sense of sympathy from the audience as innocent people are losing there homes. Postmodernism is used to show shocking images of innocent children to create a shock and reaction to try and gain peoples support and financial gain.

Look at the Guardian website/Daily Mail website and compare top five stories on each home page.
The story on both pages are different due to the audience there aiming at, This is present in the guardian because there story's are custom to there audience which is ABC1 which means they are a higher intelligence and wouldn't enjoy gossip type news.
As you scroll down the websites, are there any articles on the same stories? You will probably have to click on the news link for the Daily Mail (this is important to remember) to see if any are comparable.
Both the guardian and the Daily Mail have a story about brexit today but with a few differences, the guardian has a story about how Britain will fail if brexit takes place and the daily mail says about how the next step has taken towards brexit and how Britain will achieve lots when it happens. This shows the left and right wing views of both news papers.
Then copy and paste some of the reader comments and reflect on what it says about them.
"The useless and the drunk. We¿re doomed!"
The daily mail has a person who comments who disagrees with the story about brexit which is unusual because the Daily Mail are a right wing paper and are for brexit to someone commenting means the person commenting is looking at the wrong news paper.
Then look on social media and see what they have prioritised to post/reflect on reader comments there also.
Online the daily mail talks about green house gasses on there twitter warning the public about this but there is no news on the brexit or any politics.
The guardian talks about Jeremy Corbin who is speaking about how the government are unrealistic.
Both of these are different to one another and shows how The Guardian focuses on politics and the Daily Mail focuses on the gossip and celebs.

M-The children are looking all natural.
P-The lunch boxes are used to show that there normal kids that are walking to school, this also adds to the shock when they talk about the shooting and the crime scene. The director also used the cane/stick to act as a educational tool turns into a weapon, this could represent the children as they grow up starting off in education and ending up turning violent.
S-It is set in a ghetto to show that children do live there and struggle to sleep with the shootings and learn with the violence taking place in the class.
Editing
S-The 4 main kids have the most screen time but also the teacher and mother have major screen time which is crucial to the story line.
T-The blood that the kids find on the ground has a faded transition to the pictures Tre is drawing in class, this could represent that the children's mind is on other things like violence rather then education.
O-After the fight in the class the story transitions to the teacher having a phone call with the mother of the boy, This is shown by both actors on the phone, and you know its after class because the teacher is walking on the street.

Its set in a science lab because it has equipment like test tubes and chemicals that immediately give off a sci-fi theme. There is elements of curiosity and surprise within the image due to the unidentified test tube liquid starting to react, this also shows surprise due to his facial expressions indicating something has not went the way he thought it would. There is a main prop in the picture which is the test tube, this is used because it shows an experiment of some sort, also indicating a sci-fi theme. The lab coat is also used to show that he is a scientist to furthermore represent the sci-fi genre. The story is told through the props because it shows that there is an experiment gone wrong. The story is also told through his facial expressions because he looks worried/scared or surprised because of whats happening with the test tube. The main character looks like a male who seems to be a scientist of some sort. The editor has dulled the colors of the image and then put bright/vibrant colors around the test tube to make it stand out and make it eye catching.
This image is set on a field which indicates romance because dates and things of that nature take place on them. There is intense love shown in this picture due to the way the man is staring at the inanimate object, this also shows comedy because the man is in love with the thing he is holding. The main prop is the inanimate object, which shows a funny aspect to the picture. The story is told through the body language the way the man is holding the object up, which is a reference to popular movie "Dirty Dancing", but doing this with an object not a person shows that this movie/series will be a Rom-Com. The editor has blurred around the man and his lover because it makes it focuses on the lovers and draws the attention away from the background, this is done to show that the man is only focused on the paper man he is in love with.
